Uraidla Family Practice is situated in the beautiful Adelaide hills. Our consulting and treatment rooms have views over the apple and cherry orchards and vineyards. Our facilities and equipment are second to none, with electric examination couches in every room and a treatment room which is set up to deal with any emergency. We are fully computerised using the Best Practice integrated program for case history, appointments and billing. Our registrars have a consulting room, which is solely for their use. Our doctors have admitting privileges to Stirling Hospital. The emphasis in our practice is being friendly, welcoming and efficient. It is a real family practice.

Uraidla is a small town in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, Australia. 
Once the home of the Peramangk Aboriginal people, European settlement commenced in the mid nineteenth century, a primary school opened in 1871 and the town formally established in the 1880s.
Uraidla and the surrounding area is a well-known agricultural district with apple and cherry orchards, along with vineyards producing many local wine vintages.

Regional Highlights

  • The Uraidla Show (in February of each year) is the first country show of the year. Set in beautiful surroundings in the Piccadilly Valley, 20 minutes from the CBD up Greenhill Road. The show features sustainability displays, SA Yard Dog trials, horses, ute muster and all the usual attractions.
