AOGP maintains a large region, which provides an extensive array of training opportunities: from remote practice in the north and west of the state, to training in diverse rural regions, through to outer-metropolitan and urban General Practice.

    Yorke Peninsula is famous for its beaches. Whether you enjoy fishing, snorkelling, surfing or just a picnic on the beach, there is something for everyone.
  • Tourism sites
    Being a popular tourist destination, Yorke Peninsula boasts a number of attractions. Tour the copper mines, visit one of the many historic museums, experience a railway tour based in Moonta, or for something more modern, view the Wattle Point Wind Farm.
  • Innes National Park
    This national park is not to be missed. It is a pristine wilderness, home to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches, including the popular surfing beach, Pondalowie.
