Crystal Brook Medical Practice is an accredited practice with AGPAL. The current practice has been in existance since the late 1980's. Patient's that attend our practice reside in the Crystal Brook and from the surrounding towns of Laura, Gladstone, Port Pirie. Crystal Brook Medical Practice has a patient base that is diverse in both age and health requirements, providing Registrars with exposure to general medicine, obstetic shared care, emergency medicine, surgery, chronic disease management, mental health, paediatric management, work injuries and general perventative health management. The Crystal Brook Medical Practice has 4 GPs with diverse interests, Intern, 1 full time practice manager, 1 part time Registered nurse / receptionist, 1 part time Enrolled nurse / receptionist and 1 part time receptionist. The practice is fully computerised using Best Practice and we privately bill patients. The doctors have admitting rights to Crystal Brook Hospital and also visit the local nursing home - Willochra.

    The museum is a typical local museum with interesting displays of machinery and farming equipment. There is an impressive historic photograph exhibition. Because it was once a bakery it has a rare underground oven.
  • Bowen Park 
    Located 5 km east of Crystal Brook, Bowman Park Native Fauna Section is located on the Heysen Trail and offers visitors an opportunity to walk a short section of the trail at the southern end of the Flinders Ranges. The park has historic buildings which date back to 1847, an excellent Australian reptile collection, a wide variety of native animals which abound during the hours after dark.
