Hahndorf Medical Centre is a nationally accredited practice and consists of a group of eight full time equivalent, experienced doctors with a common philosophy and commitment to Family Medicine. As well as providing full services of family health care, the practice has admitting rights to both the Mt Barker DSM Hospital and the Stirling District Hospital. The doctors also visit the local Hostels and Nursing homes within the district. One of the main objectives of the Practice is to encourage the maintenance of good health in patients through preventive medicine and active health promotion.
