Modbury is part of the Tea Tree City municipality in the foothills to the Adelaide Hills. It is a delightful part of the metropolitan area, radiating out from the north-eastern fringes of the extraordinary Linear Park - a 20km green belt that flanks the Torrens River all the way to the city and southern beaches. This marvellous recreational strip is rich in walking and cycling tracks and picnic areas. Tea Tree is also connected to the centre of Adelaide by the O-Bahn, an express bus route which cuts travelling time for city commuters to 20-minutes.
