As part of the teaching session you will be looking at the issues of follow up and referral for patients with anxiety.

Select two patients you have seen on multiple occasions who have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Phobia or Generalised Anxiety Disorder. For the purpose of the teaching exercise it would be most useful if these are patients you have seen repeatedly over a long period of time, and that two different diagnoses are represented.

It is not planned that there will be discussion about the diagnosis or management plan in these two patients, the discussion will be solely about factors that influenced the frequency and timing of review, and how decisions were made about whether referral for further management was suggested or pursued.
