Reflect on the outcome and make appropriate reminder notes for future consults.
Next, identify an appropriate patient with depression who is returning for a review appointment. Videotape the consultation and view the tape with the above checklist in mind, either by yourself or in conjunction with your Supervisor.

Seek out several colleagues and discuss with them how they deal with their emotional responses to patients in their daily practice and lives.
