International Medical Graduates (IMG)
What is the IMG Fellowship Exam Preparation Program?
The International Medical Graduate Fellowship Exam Preparation Program (IMG FEPP) provides each participant with support whilst they prepare for a Fellowship of either or both Australian General Practice Colleges - ACRRM and RACGP.
The IMG FEPP consists of three Modules and includes interaction with both Medical Educators and peers.
Why participate in this program?
IMGs who engage with a personally tailored support Program have a higher chance of passing their exams on their first attempt.
No charge to participate in Module One. It is fully funded by RDWA and is delivered by AOGP.
The IMG FEPP provides access to resources, materials and study groups, which may otherwise be hard to find in rural and remote areas.
Interacting with IMGs who are also preparing to sit their exams can provide invaluable support to assist your exam preparations.
The majority of AOGP’s Medical Educators are AOGP IMG alumni. They have returned to AOGP to work with new IMGs and can offer their own personal insight, empathy and guidance on how to best prepare and approach the exams.
AOGP provides an Australian context to FACRRM and FRACGP exam preparation, including (but not limited to) rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health perspectives.
